What is Hypnosis & how does it feel?
- Hypnosis is a pleasant state of calm relaxation of the body and mind.
- It is not the same as sleep – a person in hypnosis remains conscious at all times and is aware of what is happening around them.
- Hypnosis is induced by use of the therapist’s voice alone – no pendulums or other gadgetry.
- You are unlikely to actually feel hypnotised. There is no such thing as a “hypnotised feeling”.
- Almost anyone can enter hypnosis easily. Nobody can be hypnotised against their will.
- Hypnosis is a reliable and safe therapeutic technique, centuries old, and recognised in orthodox medical circles as a valuable therapy, to accelerate healing and help combat pain.
- Hypnotherapy can be an effective treatment methodology for a great variety of problems where psychological factors are involved.
